VETERANS:  YOUR FREE BURIAL BENEFITS
If you are an Honorably Discharged Veteran, the U.S. Government extends a valuable debt of gratitude to you through FREE Burial Benefits at a National Cemetery.

In October of 2005, Great Lakes National Cemetery, our country’s newest and Michigan’s second national cemetery, was opened and dedicated to serve the needs of our Veteran’s and their families for decades to come.  Amidst rolling hills and a picturesque lake setting, it is located just 45 miles northwest of Metro Detroit in Holly, Michigan.

Along with providing these sacred and  hallowed grounds as a fitting tribute to those who have so dutifully served our country, these FREE Burial Benefits do much to defray the ever-increasing costs at the time of death, and aptly serve to memorialize those who have
“paid the price” for the freedoms & liberties our nation shares today.

At a National Cemetery,
Your Burial Benefits include;
FREE Grave Space
FREE Grave Liner
FREE Grave Opening & Closing
FREE Grave Marker
FREE Perpetual Care
FREE U.S. Flag

♦These valued benefits are also extended to your Spouse and dependent children age 21 and under.
♦♦ The cost savings of these benefits reflect hundreds to thousands of dollars off the average burial expense at public cemeteries,...and extends special honors to our deserving veterans and their families.

At Voran Funeral Home, we wish to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to our area Veteran’s, and their families, by acknowledging the sacrifices they’ve made and assisting them in arranging the honorable and fitting tribute they so deserve.

We seek to be your “funeral home of choice,”  your Premier Funeral Home for a Veteran’s memorial.  Whether it’s securing a flag, effecting Military Honors, or arranging the full compliment of benefits at a national cemetery, Voran Funeral Home has been assisting the needs and wishes of our Veteran families for over 50 years, and we seek to continue this service with great honor and pride.

Working in conjunction with the Veteran’s Administration, the U.S. Government and the National Cemetery Administration, we are here to address any needs or questions you may have.  For information on how this can all be planned in advance, please contact us at
any time via email, telephone or in person at any of our locations.
