OUR STAFF

Fred N. Voran

Fred co-founded Voran Funeral Home with his brothers in 1951. He was born and raised in Melvindale and has been a constant contributor to the community through many clubs and organizations including Allen Park Elks, The Moose Lodge and Knights of Columbus
(Fr. Saylor). Throughout the years Fred has been active in sponsoring many and varied organizations. A keen golfer and a life-time member of Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club, Fred also enjoys bowling and watching sports. He has been married for 36 years to Barbara who has equally been a part of the operating of the funeral homes. They have three loving children Eleana, Renee and Fred Jr.

Fred N. Voran Jr.

Freddy was born and raised in the downriver area. He graduated from St. Frances Cabrini H.S. in 1996 and Wayne State University in 2002. He is active in sports including bowling, hockey and golf. He enjoys playing the guitar, painting and drawing. Fred loves working with his family and happily continues to instill the values and principals of his father and Voran Funeral Home.

Eleana Voran Keding

Eleana, a native Allen Parker, graduated from St. Frances Cabrini H.S. in 1991 and Wayne State University in 1995. Eleana has been married to her husband Bradley for 8 years and they welcomed their twin boys, Dresden and Brayden, in November 2007. She considers herself fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her family since 1989. She is an avid traveler, enjoys the outdoors, local events, sports and the arts. She is happy to be back close to her friends and family after living in Venice Beach, California for the past 4 years.

Joseph Castelnero

Joseph graduated from the Indiana College of Mortuary Science and also obtained a B.A. degree from Madonna College with a major in Gerontology. He has experience in all aspects of funeral service and customs. Joseph has been a part of the Voran Funeral Home staff since 1996.

Patrick D. Dillon

Patrick was born and raised in the downriver area. He graduated from Gabriel Richard H.S. in 1988 and then from Wayne State University in Mortuary Science in 1998. Pat has been part of the Voran Staff since 1998 and has held the position of Taylor manager since 2004. Patrick has been happily married since 1996 to his lovely wife Donna (Humbert). They are proud parents of three beautiful daughters: Jessica, Bethany and Allyson. Pat and his family attend St. Joseph Catholic Church in Trenton. Pat's interests and hobbies include: animals (especially dogs), music, sports (Go Tigers), spending time up-north and last but not least, spending time with his family. Pat is proud to call downriver home and use his abilities to serve our community.

Linda M. Kuchka

Linda was born and raised in the Dearborn area. She graduated from Fordson H.S. in 1981 and in 1987 graduated with a B.S. in Mortuary Science from WSU. For a short time she enjoyed living and working in sunny San Diego, CA. Linda has been a funeral director with Voran Funeral Home since 1999. Her free time is spent taking care of her three rambunctious dogs and visiting with family and friends.

   

John O'Connor

John grew up in Southwest Detroit (Mexicantown) and is still a current resident. A Graduate of Holy Redeemer High School in 1991 and Wayne State with a BS in Mortuary Science in 2001. John has been married to his wife Beth for 10 years and has two girls Emma and Claire. His hobbies include camping, fishing, following The Tigers,
Classic car cruises, but most of all spending time with the family. He looks forward to serving the downriver community, having found a good home at Voran's.
